Kingdom Wars is my vision on how to combine the best of PvP and the best of PvE without them interfering with each other. They way I plan on trying to achieve is to create a game within a game. First I have one server that I put rules in place to protect players and their tames. I turn PvP settings on and turn Structure damage off so builds can not be destroyed and Rules can be enforced. This server will be the Main board of the game. Though PvP settings are on there is no PvPing except in events on this server.

On this main server the Map is divided into Kingdoms. Each kingdom will have their own leader and laws that govern them. Laws are established by the leader of the kingdom. The economy is based on BBS (Berry Bush Seeds) that can be earned through events, Bounty Hunts, and selling your wares and skills to other players. They can be used to purchase goods and dinos from other players or stores. Quality Loot will be hard to come by through normal means of the game. Your Higher Quality BPs and Dinos will come from Player Auctions or through Admin Stores. This will be the PvE aspect of the game. You come on to the server, you build your homestead in your choosen Kingdom, tame and raise your dinos, and earn BBS to buy bigger and better things. No worries about being wiped, builds destroyed or tames killed. Life is good.

 

Now let's move on to the PvP aspect of the game.....

 

This is where we build a game within the game. On the main board the Kingdoms are divided into 12 equal sections. So each kingdom has 12 sections of land that makes up it's kingdom. Kingdoms will be able to declare war on neighboring Kingdoms to expand their Kingdom. Think of it as Risk. You declare war, you go to war. If you win, you conquer the closest section of land to your kingdom and add it to your kingdom. These Wars will be held on a completely diffrent server, so the PvE world will remain untouched. The wars will be based on a point system to determine the winner. Points will be awarded on a Kill confirmed and Capture the Flag scenario. Meaning you gain points by killing an enemy and collecting their Specimen Implant and turning it in. The Capture the Flag aspect will be each competing  kingdom will be given 3 artifacts not obtainable through normal means on the map and they have to hide ad protect them. Capturing the oppents flag earns your kingdom bonus points.
